Learning Support to Enhance Students' Performance
For any pupil experiencing difficulty with organisation or study skills, we can provide lessons with our qualified and experienced Learning Support team to develop their confidence and approach to learning. The right learning support can make a big difference to a student’s performance, whether it’s a one-off session or ongoing support.
Although our Learning Support team are not able to provide highly specialised and intensive support, they can support pupils with mild dyslexia and other learning difficulties through one-to-one sessions and certain individual arrangements, such as extra time in examinations. Teachers at the British School of Bucharest are experienced and familiar with effective modern teaching methods.
While helping to enhance a student’s performance in areas of difficulty, we can also arrange for pupils to be assessed for dyslexia and other learning difficulties. We encourage parents who are considering the British School of Bucharest for a child with special educational needs to discuss those needs with our Admissions Manager before registering. We will ask for reports from educational psychologists or medical personnel, as appropriate.
Please note that the British School of Bucharest is not responsible for the content on these external pages and, as usual, we advise you to monitor your children’s online activity.
