British School of Bucharest Pupils Learn Essential Study Skills
We teach study skills to every pupil. These are mainly taught by the Class Teacher in Primary or the Form Tutor in Secondary. Our approach to study skills is to teach the British School of Bucharest pupils how to learn in a personalised and subject-specific way. For example, for students studying a language, we may teach techniques for learning vocabulary, while in the humanities we may help students with how to effectively structure an essay.
As Year 10 and 11 students approach their IGCSE/GCSE examinations, we provide further study skills advice, covering revision techniques within PHSCE lessons and in conjunction with their Form Tutor.
Please note that the British School of Bucharest is not responsible for the content on these external pages and, as usual, we advise you to monitor your children’s online activity.
BSB is adapting to the current climate. Some information on the website is available for normal School activity. Due to COVID-19, there may be changes in the way School works, but all staff are fully operational and can be contacted via firstname.lastname@example.org.
