About the Foundation
The British School of Bucharest was founded in August 2000, filling a demand in Romania for a high quality, internationally recognised education and providing a clear pathway to the best universities worldwide.
Since its inception, the British School of Bucharest has offered the National Curriculum for England to both local families and the city’s dynamic international community. It is now one of the greatest schools in the country, attracting pupils from Romania and all over the world.
BSB occupies a mature and spacious campus on 2.2 Hectares to the north of the city, in the residential suburb of Pipera. Situated close to Baneasa forest, it provides separate EYFS, Primary and Secondary centres all in one location.
The school is a ‘not for-profit’ foundation, the Crawford House Foundation
